- Walker Fork of the Fortymile River can be accessed between campsites 24 and 25 with a short, narrow, unimproved gravel trail that may be more appropriate for nonmotorized craft and river is very shallow. Limited parking area. It is recommended to read through the BLM brochure under “More info” before boating or floating the Fortymile River and/or any of its tributaries.
