On Cutler Drain Canal

The Cutler Drain Canal, also called the C-100 series, is a drainage canal system in southern Miami-Dade County, Florida. It has four sections, named C-100, C-100A, C-100B and C-100C, and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) operates and maintains it. The canals run through the Village of Palmetto Bay, where a network of pipes carries stormwater into them. When major rain events exceed the capacity of the canals and local drainage pipes, flooding occurs. More about Cutler Drain Canal.
